Accidental Death – There’s no waiting period for accidental death
Natural Causes of Death – 6 months waiting period.
Suicide – 12 months waiting period
This benefit provides transportation of the deceased assured life from the place of death to the funeral home – benefit applicable within the borders of SA.
Once the policyholder has passed on the continuation option will fall to the first spouse of the policy, thereafter the eldest life assured. This option ensures the benefits continue after the policyholder has passed without any new waiting periods applied to those still covered by the policy.
